3 Practices to Create an Abundance Mindset
Ladies, it’s time to navigate creating an abundance mindset. A practice that can come with a lot of guilt, but for how hard we work, we deserve the desire for more.
So let’s establish what it takes to build an abundance mindset!
Before we get into actual behaviors, let’s set some ground rules.
An abundance mindset doesn’t mean that you shop till you drop. It’s about attracting opportunities, love, and positivity into your life.
An abundance mindset leans into your perspective. It’s not always about needing something new, maybe you need to find the value of what exists in the present.
3 Practices to Create an Abundance Mindset
Gratitude
I believe an abundance mindset is built on the foundation of gratitude. If you haven’t learned the art of appreciation, what's delivered to you won’t be as meaningful. That means you need to show gratitude for what already exists. It changes your perspective from glass half empty to glass half full. Consider this, as a recent graduate, I’ve been looking to make new friends, but I must show love and appreciation to the friendships I’ve already made. Not only because they deserve it, but it puts me in the habit of facilitating healthy relationships.
Knowing yourself
The act of seeking abundance comes with knowing what you’re seeking. Taking the time to know your biggest desires in life is critical, even if some of them seem far-fetched. How will you know to ask for more if you don’t know what or why you’re requesting? Diving deep into what you want helps you align yourself with your desires.
Even at the age of 22, I know I eventually want to end up in a creative role that gives me the flexibility to rest, be involved with my community, and have a family. Knowing that I’m able to start acting in ways that will eventually lead to that continues to help me stay committed to what I seek. Attaching abundance doesn’t just happen, it’s based on your effort, too!
Delusion is manifesting
What they call delusion, I call manifesting. I already claim my dreams, because with that mindset, I’m pouring positive energy towards that. When you have aspirations coupled with thoughts of “it won’t happen for me” or “maybe I’m not worthy,” you're adding doubt and negativity to the equation. Repeated negative talk is going to keep you stagnant, not propel you towards your goals.
Hopefully, you have some new tools you can test out in your daily life to spark your abundance mindset. As always, wishing you joy and new revelations as you continue on your growth journey!
With love,
Allie
